Dear Portland.
Today I was sitting outside on my porch before going to class and a mail truck drove by. All 6 of the dogs that live on my block ran up to their fenced in territories and started barking wildly. And then when the truck was out of sight, the block was quiet again. I immediately thought about why dogs bar at mail carriers. I didn't have to think very long until duh, I figured it out. Because they have never been introduced, you don't let the mail carrier into your house, he comes to your front door and then leaves. They are just protectors.
Then on my walk home from class, I have to walk by the evil dogs house and the spaniel had the devil in his eyes and ran up to the fence and viciously growled and barked which altered the other too who also came running up and, admittedly, scared the shit out of me. I think they are going to have to keep the doxen in the house or in the back because the grass is getting so long in the front yard he can't see over it. I don't know what the deal is with that house but it's weird. And makes me annoyed, angry, and sad, for the animals that live there.
I have almost no food left in the house. No food for meals. I have plenty of baking ingredients to tomorrow I suppose I will bake a cake and maybe write some letters.

About Me

- The Learning Curve of an Adult Child is singularly me. I suppose it's about the trials and tribulations involved in what "they" call being a grown-up. But maybe it's just about things that happen and things I think about... (Also, that is my computer generated pirate name) My other blog, [hap]hazard, is my best friend and I. We enjoy adventuring.
